CloseThat we leave is inevitable. How we leave is up to us. What kind of legacy will we leave behind? What benefit will our lives have served when this phase of our existence ends? What will we have done with what God has given us? Will we have seized upon the opportunities for service, witness or generosity? Will we have valued the relationships given us by God? This weekend we will have the final message in our One Month to Live series. It will have to do with how we live so we are prepared to leave. The nature of your legacy will be directly connected to the convictions you hold. What we experience here on earth is our preparation for heaven. Life here is short, heaven is forever. In the meantime, in this short period, each of us can contribute our lives for the sake of the Gospel and others.
