CloseThe Christian life is not a solo performance. Christian experience is lived out in the plural, an ensemble of different personalities, voices and giftings that blend together into a beautiful and profound oneness. Here’s what the Apostle Paul wrote about that, “Live in harmony with each other.” Romans 12:16. More detail on that principle comes out as he writes, “Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep.” We share each other’s joys and sorrows. We bear each other’s burdens. We’re not merely physically present, more than that we are emotionally present with each other. That’s the “Jesus Way” as we generously and humbly reach out to embrace each other with costly, caring love.
