CloseIn Jesus’ parable of the ten talents He tells of a master who entrusts his goods to his servants when he leaves no a long journey. They are not given out equally, but more are given to those he knew would be more responsible and wise. Let’s apply Jesus’ parable to our lives. God gives each of us certain measures of material goods and abilities (talents). He does this individually, no two exactly the same. There isn’t any “no talent” person. While they are entrusted to us, we are not given ownership. That remains with God. Our job is to use these for His purpose, His kingdom, His glory. Yet, all the while, He makes sure that all our needs are taken care of.
