CloseHow much longer? When is it over? Those questions come to everyone’s mind and the answers are elusive. We don’t have the answers but we know the one who IS the answer. Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life.” If he is that, then everything is totally more than OK in the end. That means that every moment of every day we live in a guaranteed hope. Darkness covered the land on Good Friday when Jesus was on the cross. But Sunday was close at hand, and the tomb was empty and joyful, victorious life came rushing out of the tomb toward us. We are starting a new series on the Sermon on the Mount. Jesus went with his disciples up a mount to revisit another mount, Mount Sinai where the Law was given. This time, however, we go deeper, into the Jesus-heart of God’s law and see a new way of living.
