CloseOur God opens the eyes of the blind and the ears of the deaf. The Psalmist prays to the Lord, “Open my lips, and my mouth will declare your praise.” We ask him to open our eyes “that I may behold wondrous things.” God opened the heavens and sent the Spirit on Jesus at his baptism, and he opens the heavens to send us the same Spirit. Peter writes that God’s ears are open to our prayers. We pray that our hearts are open to receive the grace of God and open to the needs of others that we may serve and encourage them.
