CloseJesus had a lot to say about love. More than that, he acted in perfect love, especially when we consider his willingness to go to the cross for us. Those actions give us the perfect model to emulate. The words of Jesus give the perfect path of love for us to follow. For us to do that, we need to see others the way Jesus did. Sometimes we can’t see beyond our own feelings and end up in the way of retaliation for perceived insults and offenses. Sometimes we are tempted to invest our love only on those who love us. According to Jesus, that’s the opposite of his way, explained in the Sermon on the Mount.
