CloseLife is full of frustrations. People disappoint us. Circumstances don’t always go our way. Things seem to get out of control and we can become impatient. Patience is not so much a matter of controlling those inner impatient urges as it is the Fruit of the Spirit. It means that God supplies the need for patience. Our self-focused sin nature urges us to get after others when they don’t come through for us. It pushes us into anger. It even get us to try to “play God” when circumstances are frustrating. But every Christian, through Christ, has enough Fruit of the Spirit, Patience, to come through the difficulty.
