CloseWhen Jesus entered Jerusalem on the Sunday morning of the week of his crucifixion, he was hailed as a hero. There were those who hated him and were already plotting to have him put to death. To them, Jesus posed a threat. To others, Jesus held out the only hope they could cling to. They joyfully received him. Even though their hero was crucified on Friday of that week, their hopes were not put to shame. His death was the culmination of victory and more than just a prelude to the resurrection.
Scripture References: John 12:9-21
