The one and only true God is Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He passionately desires a personal relationship with people. He detests any other pretender to be God because none of them can deliver like He can as the Almighty eternal source of all that exists. The worship of anyone or anything other than the real God only brings harm, both temporal and eternal. Because God has such a great way for saving the world through Jesus Christ, He put together a system called the Church to deliver that plan to the world. We are God’s delivery system for getting the Good News out to people. Jesus tells us to “make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you.”
