God intentionally selected Joseph to be more than a bit player in the drama of the ages. He is on stage briefly in Act One of the Jesus story, but he has a major role. The faith and obedience of a faithful man of God matters a lot. Thinking of ourselves in the same spot as Joseph, what might we say to God? We hope not only to spark some curiosity, but we want to challenge ourselves to ask if we would respond to God’s invitation to participate in His plan like Joseph did as recorded in Matthew 1:24, “He did as the angel of the Lord commanded him.”
