Pentecost commemorates the pouring out of the Holy Spirit almost 2 millennia ago .It also was the birthday of the first Christian church as throngs were convicted by this Holy Spirit of their sin, brought to repentance, were baptized and were bonded and gathered into the Body of Christ. Their lives were forever changed. No longer could they live a superficial religious life. They had the living God living inside them and that changed everything. Now they could live the supernatural life because of the big and powerful God who lived in them.
