From Shame to Fame
Something happens when people meet up with Jesus. He provokes a passion. People are either strongly attracted or repelled. Casual acquaintance is not one of the options. In this message we’ll meet a woman, a notorious sinner in the community, who crashed a party where Jesus was a guest and anointed his feet with a precious ointment. She had a long record of failure and shame. When she met Jesus, she was given the offer of forgiveness and a place in his presence. She joyfully and gratefully embraced the gift. She was like a lost sheep who was found. Her heart was changed and her behavior followed. Jesus is the One Life that Transforms.
