In the book of Colossians, Paul addresses problems the Church faces and encourages believers to remain devoted to the exalted Jesus. Because of Jesus’ position as the firstborn and head of the body and because of His resurrection, they are reconciled to God, free from the law and able to live transformed lives. They are joined to Jesus as new creations and are part of His new multi-ethnic family.
As members of the new humanity, no part of their human existence remains untouched by the loving and liberating rule of Jesus. Their suffering, temptation to compromise, moral character and the power dynamic in their home must all be re-examined and can be transformed.

Ablaze is excited to start working more with @nightlightchristianadoptions! Tonight they have their monthly foster volunteer training. This training is for people who are interested in helping and supporting foster families! We hope to see you there!
Also, be sure to save your spot! http://www.signupgenius.com/go/904044cada928a5fd0-nightlight...
Yesterday Pastor and Shannon got to do some training with our @ablazechristianacademy teachers as they get ready for the new school year!
We talked about how to grow in our relationship with Christ and identify lies that we believe that can hinder our relationship with Him!
In one of the activities we wrote down lies that we believed about ourselves, others or God and wrote them on a plate along with anything else we wanted to give to God. Then we smashed them! Check out that slow mo video! 😍
We are excited for a new school year coming up THIS WEEK! 🥳 Can’t wait time see all the littles around Ablaze again!...
